Plumosum ( Leucadendron rubrum ) is an exotic plant native to the South African fynbos region, known for its incredibly diverse flora. This ornamental shrub lacks traditional flowers—instead, it produces striking seed heads resembling miniature pine cones in vibrant shades of red, yellow, and orange. Their unique shape evokes associations with a spinning top, hence their common English name, "spinning top."
